A recap of March includes deciding on seven worthy TPS scholarship candidates - a tough job considering there were over 100 to pick from. We are able to present each student with a $3000.00 scholarship. Attached to this article are the applicants we chose. This was a city wide portal so several philanthropic groups awarded scholarships. Pat Scharf your name was brought up as being the champion to start and head this wonderful endeavor.

Then several of us attended a tour of the Boys and Girls Club on the Detroit Avenue campus to see all the wonderful changes and updates that are in progress. We then presented director Jim Ravas with a nice check for the Dave Wehrmeister Power Hour program. Lunch followed at Stubborn Brother.
It was a wonderful month of March - a great time to be a Kiwanian. For those members that can no longer attend meetings or join us, please share with friends and family what we do. You all contributed to securing these funds!
